Sri Muthappan Seva Sangham

Sri Muthappan Seva Sangam was registered under the Societies act of Tamil Nadu govt . during the year 2009.

But even before the formal initiation of the sangam it occured in the minds of a few people in Coimbatore that they were destined to start the divine functions pertaining to the god.

In the year 2002 itself Sri Muthappan- Thiruvappana Mwas conducted at Vadavalli. This was a great beginning and all like minded people got together and organised vellattam and other rituals every year in a small manner.

On one such occasion during the course of the vellattam the seeds of confidence were sown in the minds of the organisers as the voice of the god through  "theyyam" convincingly  declared  that lord muthappan was inclined to grace this part of the land with his divine presence and the lord will find his abode here.

Soon after things started moving in the right direction , funds poured in, several persons offered interest free loans, site identified , land purchased, and the construction started. Today the muthappan temple in this part of Coimbatore has become the talk of the town. People become awestruck at the beautiful site of the divine structure. People  gets mesmerised  and become ardent devotees as they are showered with the blessings of the almighty. The services rendered in the name of god by Sri Muthappan Seva Sangam is all praise worthy.
